Day-Shift is the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about it at any time through the support link in the app.

Your name, email address and phone number, to run your account and tell you about work.

Your trade, grade, cards and tickets, rates, travel limits and availability, to match you with work you have said you want.

Your area (a postcode district), to work out drive times. We never keep a full home address.

Identity and right-to-work records, because the law requires businesses to check them and because we introduce you on that basis. We ask for your separate agreement before collecting these.

Your profile, availability and anything you uploaded that is not a legal record are deleted when you close your account.

Right-to-work records are kept for two years after the end of any work they were relied on for; booking records for at least one year; the record of what you agreed to for six years. These are legal records and survive account deletion for those periods only.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, object to how we use it, or ask us to delete it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
